Central Region crowned champion

KATHMANDU, Jan 29: Central Region became champion of the National Invitational Taekwondo Running Shield organized by Sankata Club on Sunday. Central topped the medals table bagging six golds.

KATHMANDU, Jan 29: Central Region became champion of the National Invitational Taekwondo Running Shield organized by Sankata Club on Sunday. Central topped the medals table bagging six golds.



Host Sankata Club wrapped up the competition remaining in the second position with 3 golds while departmental team Armed Police Force finished third with one gold.

 

Altogether 91 players from seven teams including Sankata, APF, Central Region, Western Region, Mid-Western Region, Far-Western Region and Eastern Region took part in the two-day event that started on Saturday.
