CHITWAN, Aug 25: Police have filed a charge-sheet against television presenter Rabi Lamichhane and two others at Chitwan District Court on Sunday in connection with the suicide of journalist Shalik Ram Pudasaini.
A single bench of district judge Hemanta Rawal will conduct the hearing, according to registrar Rudramani Giri. Earlier, police had taken Lamichhane, his colleague Yuvaraj Kandel and nurse Ashmita Karki into the custody for 10 days for the investigation.

In its charge-sheet, the District Attorney Office has sought a fine of Rs 50,000 and jail sentence five years each from all the three accused. Earlier today, District Police Office Chitwan submitted its investigation report to the District Attorney Office.
The court has started recording the statements of the three accused. Now, the court is recording the statement of Ashmita Karki.
The court will decide whether to release them on a general date, grant bail or send them in the remand till the final verdict is made. The court is unlikely to complete recording the statements today.
