Chief Minister of Karnali Province Shahi takes stock of Dr KC's health

SURKHET, July 19: A team of officials led by Chief Minister of Karnali Province, Mahendra Bahadur Shahi, visited Jumla today to inquire about the health condition of Dr Govinda KC.

SURKHET, July 19: A team of officials led by Chief Minister of Karnali Province, Mahendra Bahadur Shahi, visited Jumla today to inquire about the health condition of Dr Govinda KC. 



Dr KC has been staging his 15th hunger strike in Jumla for 20 days demanding a medical education law in line with the proposal submitted by Kedar Bhakta Mathema-led task force.

The visiting team includes Secretary at the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and Coordinator from the government talk team Khagaraj Baral and member Gunaraj Lohani. 


According to Minister for Internal Affairs and Law of the government of Karnali Province, Naresh Bhandari, the team was taking stock of Dr KC's health condition. 


Bhandari shared, "The team is currently holding talks with Dr KC. The government will forward its action according to his reactions." 


According to him, the government would fly Dr KC to Kathmandu today itself, if consensus is forged during the talks.  RSS
