Child care home takes custody of children injured in explosion

SARLAHI, July 25: Former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal took the initiative to hand over two children injured in a bomb explosion in Rautahat to Sarlahi-based Conflict Vitim's Child Care Home.

SARLAHI, July 25: Former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal took the initiative to hand over two children injured in a bomb explosion in Rautahat to Sarlahi-based Conflict Vitim's Child Care Home.



Jaivik Rai, 7, along with his three-year-old brother Samrat and their mother Sita Rai were injured in a bomb explosion during an election campaign organized by the then CPN-UML Chandranigahapur ahead of the parliamentary and provincial election some months ago.

Former PM Nepal took the initiative to find a home for the children where they will be taken proper care.


Surendra Lama, chairperson of the Child Care Home run by Chetana Sandesh Nepal in Ghurkauli took the responsibility of the children amidst a program organized in Hariwan on Tuesday.


The children's mother Sarita had lost her feet in the explosion and was unable to take care of them.
