KATHMANDU, Sept 22: The 22nd special general assembly of National Federation of Photo Journalists (NFPJ) has elected a new working committee with Gorkhapatra daily photographer Rajendra Chitrakar as the coordinator.
The special general assembly of the Federation today dissolved the then working committee and elected a new one unanimously.

The other office-bearers of the newly-elected working committee are Krishna Khadka of the Ratopati.com (Vice-president), Pradip Raj Onta of Rastriya Samachar Samiti (General Secretary), Nawaraj Shrestha of Himalaya Times daily (Secretary), Lekh Bahadur Shrestha of News Abhiyan (Treasurer) and Chandrakala Chhetri of Naya Patrika daily (Joint Treasurer).
Newly elected members include Nawaraj Wagley, Tej Bahadur Basnet, Shova Maharjan, Aryan Dhimal, Gagan Aryal, Sushila Shrestha, Mukunda Kalikote, Pradip Shrestha and Rajendra Thapa.
Inaugurating the assembly, Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) president Govinda Acharya recalled the role played by NFPJ towards promoting photojournalism in Nepal. RSS
