CIAA charges police officer for presenting fake credential

KATHMANDU, Dec 19: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Sunday filed a corruption case against Sub Inspector Mohan Singh Sunar at the Special Court on charge of submitting fake certificate while joining the government service.

KATHMANDU, Dec 19: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Sunday filed a corruption case against Sub Inspector Mohan Singh Sunar at the Special Court on charge of submitting fake certificate while joining the government service. 



Sunar, who is currently working at the Police Headquarters, has been accused of submitting fake certificate of SLC acquired from Bakhat Secondary Examination Committee, India in the year 2000.



In its chargesheet, the CIAA has demanded maximum punishment against the accused in accordance with the Corruption Prevention Act.



It has also appealed to the general public to support in creating a corruption-free society.
