CM Poudel reaches Bote community

HETAUDA, Aug 10: Province 3 Chief Minister Dormani Poudel has said the provincial government always works for the protection of marginalized and backward communities. During his observation of the under-construction integrated Bote settlement at Manhari rural municipality in Makwanpur today, he thanked the local government for its initiation to protect the marginalized people.

On the occasion, he vowed all sorts of possible assistance for the protection of those communities.  

The settlement meant for the marginalized Bote community whose livelihood depends on fishing is being developed by the Manhari rural municipality. The local government has planned to transform the settlement as a 'homestay' zone. 


Meantime, CM Poudel visited the Manhari agricultural area and praised the local progress in vegetable farming, calling upon to focus on organic production. The CM was accompanied by Makwanpur District Coordination Committee chief Raghunath Khulal, Manhari rural municipality chair Yek Raj Upreti.
