UML Chief Whip of the National Assembly Bhattarai said that the communists must unite by doing away with the rightist crutch of the Nepali Congress. He said, “Let's throw the rightists crutch of the Congress. The people want to see a communist alliance.”

Writing on social media Facebook, Bhattarai said, "Congress will take advantage of the disagreement between communists.
