JUMLA, July 13: A construction worker at the under construction Karnali Health and Sciences Academy Teaching Hospital fell to death on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Anil Chaudhary, 21, of Bhajani area of Trishakti Muncipality – 1 of Kailali.
Chaudhary slipped from the top floor and plunged 14 meters below at 8: 30 am while working on construction. He sustained fatal injuries and died in course of treatment at 6:30 pm at the Academy, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Prem Prasad Regmi, of District Police Office, Jumla.
Chaudhary's family members have been informed of the incident, and they will be provided Rs 300,000 insurance money, said Project Manager, Dilli Prasad Dhakal. Chaudhary had been working at the site for the last one and a half months. RSS
