KATHMANDU, Nov 3: A contempt of court case has been registered against suspended Chief Commissioner at the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), Lokman Singh Karki and others for obstructing the process of delivering Supreme Court’s notice on Karki.

Advocate Om Prasad Aryal moved the apex court demanding an action against Karki, his son-in-law Prabal Thapa and others for obstructing the process of serving the court’s notice.
Chairman of Agriculture Development Bank and former Law Secretary Pramod Karki and ASI Nakul Raj Gautam as Metropolitan Police Circle, Baneshwor too have been named as defendants in the case.
