Coolpad introduced in Nepal

KATHMANDU, Feb 15: Jaima Intercontinental Private Limited has launched Coolpad smartphones in the Nepali market.



Issuing a statement, the company said that James Du, CEO of Coolpad Global and Ganesh Bahadur Shrestha, chairman of Jaima Intercontinental, jointly launched the brand by unveiling Cool 1 smartphone.

The company claims that Coolpad Cool 1 is the first phone in Nepal with 13 + 13 MP dual rear camera. Coolpad Cool 1 has a pair of 13-megapixel sensors with an f/2.0 aperture and dual-tone LED flash, 8-megapixel front-facing camera, 4,060 mAh battery, according to the statement.


Coolpad has also launched three other smartphones -- Note 3S, Mega 3 and Mega 2.5D. Coolpad Cool 1 has been priced at Rs 30,996, statement added.
