Coronavirus screening desk set up at Baniyani

BANIYANI, March 9: In order to check the possible outbreak of novel coronavirus infection, a health desk has been set up at Kumarkhod at the Nepal-India border here.

BANIYANI, March 9: In order to check the possible outbreak of novel coronavirus infection, a health desk has been set up at Kumarkhod at the Nepal-India border here.



With the beginning of checkup services, people entering through the border checkpoints would be screened to confirm whether the entrants have coronavirus infection.

Health desk has come into operation from Sunday and two health workers are deputed for the task, said rural municipality Health Section chief Laxman Bishwakarma.


The health desk was set up at the border point in line with the directive of the Ministry of Health and Population.
