Corruption should end for development: Naya Shakti coordinator Bhattarai

URLABARI (Morang), June 23: Naya Shakti Party, Nepal coordinator Dr Baburam Bhattarai today said the country could not pursue development until thriving corruption ends.

URLABARI (Morang), June 23: Naya Shakti Party, Nepal coordinator Dr Baburam Bhattarai today said the country could not pursue development until thriving corruption ends. 



"My party's aim is to end corruption as 70 to 80 percent corruption takes place in development works," he said while speaking at an election campaign organised jointly by the Urlabari town committee of Naya Shakti and Upendra Yadav led Sanghiya Samajwadi Forum Nepal.

Naya Shakti and Forum Nepal have formed an electoral alliance for mayor and deputy mayor at Urlabari Municipality. 


Saying unemployment could not end without economic development, the former Prime Minister said his party would launch a campaign to make the country prosper in the next two decades. He also urged party cadres to involve in the polls with courage and determination. RSS
