COVID-19 recovery rate is almost double than that of new infection rate

MORANG, Oct 4: In the last 24 hours, 320 people have recovered from COVID-19 in Province 1 while 168 people have been infected. According to the Ministry of Social Development of the province, of the 855 PCR tests conducted, 148 turned out to be positive while among 183 tests conducted through antigen methods, 20 turned out to be positive.

MORANG, Oct 4: In the last 24 hours, 320 people have recovered from COVID-19 in Province 1 while 168 people have been infected. According to the Ministry of Social Development of the province, of the 855 PCR tests conducted, 148 turned out to be positive while among 183 tests conducted through antigen methods, 20 turned out to be positive.



According to the ministry, 69 people were infected in Jhapa, 46 in Morang, 20 in Sunsari, five in Ilam, three in Udayapur, one in Dhankuta and four outside the province.

There were 165 women and 155 men in Province 1 who became free from the COVID-19 infection on Sunday. In the last 24 hours, four men died of the infection, according to the ministry.
