BEJHAD, April 19: The Palpa police on Thursday arrested Topraj Basyal, chair of All Nepal Peasants Association, Palpa, on the charge of his connection with the Communist Party of Nepal led by Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’.
The party’s activities have been banned by the government since March 12. District Police Office, Palpa’s Superintendent of Police Bishwamani Pokhrel confirmed the arrest of Basyal from Madanpokhara of Tansen municipality-8. The office is preparing to file a case against him today itself.
