KATHMANDU, Oct 25: A standing committee meeting of the CPN-UML has decided to support the impeachment motion registered at the Legislature-Parliament against Chief of the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), Lokman Singh Karki, and to forge consensus in favor of the motion.
The meeting held Tuesday at the Parliamentary Party Office of the CPN-UML at Singha Durbar decided to forge consensus in favor of the impeachment motion by holding discussion with the political parties representing in the Legislature-Parliament, said CPN-UML Secretary and Spokesperson, Yogesh Bhattarai.
The meeting presided over by party Chairman KP Sharma Oli took the decision in this regard. RSS
