KATHMANDU, April 17: The CPN (Unified Socialist) has decided to field Dirgha Sodari as the candidate for chief minister of Sudurpaschim Province.
The party's 80th Secretariat Meeting convened at the central office at local Aloknagar today decided to pick the CPN (Unified Socialist) Sudurpaschim Province Assembly parliamentary party leader Sodari as the candidate for the chief ministership, said Jagannath Khatiwada, the party’s deputy general-secretary and spokesperson.

According to Khatiwada, the meeting held discussions on preparations for the party's 10th general convention and other topics. The meeting is ongoing.
