I have told Deuba that I will become the first PM of the new government: Dahal

SINDHUPALCHOWK, Dec 1: Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal wants to maintain the current alliance and become the first Prime Minister of the new government. He also revealed that he has claimed the leadership of the new government after meeting with the current Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.

SINDHUPALCHOWK, Dec 1: Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal wants to maintain the current alliance and become the first Prime Minister of the new government. He also revealed that he has claimed the leadership of the new government after meeting with the current Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.



“This alliance will be maintained and moved forward. I will be the first prime minister," he said.


Dahal also said that after all the election results, power sharing and other issues will be discussed among the coalition parties.

According to a member of the Maoist Politburo who participated in the discussion, Chairman Dahal sat down with Prime Minister Deuba and presented his claim to become the Prime Minister in the first stage. I have already told Deuba that I will become the first prime minister of the coalition government. He (Deuba) did not speak. He remained silent," said Dahal while informing about the meeting with Deuba.


While reiterating that he will advance this alliance, he also informed that some small parties are preparing to join the process of unity with the Maoists, said Madhav Sapkota, elected member of the House of Representatives from Sindhupalchok-1, who participated in the discussion. "Maoist is forming a front with some other parties," he said, quoting Dahal's statement.


First, Dahal claimed that he was ready to help the party alliance of Upendra Yadav, CK Raut and Resham Chaudhary to make him the Prime Minister.


People's representatives and leaders participating in the discussion also suggested to President Dahal not to give up the claim of the Prime Minister.
