Although the Ministry of Home Affairs had issued circulars to all the 77 DAOs to start distributing citizenship by birth from Sunday,  Assistant Chief District Officer of Parsa Bhim Kanta Paudel issued a notice on Sunday and said that the citizenship by birth will be issued from Monday.

The notice states that the service seekers should prepare the necessary documents to get citizenship and bring them to the DAO.
