JANAKPURDHAM, Dec 7: A man's body has been found in a drain in Dhanusha. The dead body of Ram Shankar Rai, 35, of Sabala Municipality-9, Kushmaha was found on Wednesday evening.
Rai's body was found in a drain on the road between Hanuman temple and Durga temple located in Sabaila Municipality-3, said Police Inspector Sundar Chaulagain of Area Police Office, Sabaila.

Preliminary investigation by the police revealed that Rai, who had drunk too much alcohol, may have fallen into the drain while going to defecate.
Rai's body has been kept at the Provincial Hospital Janakpur for post-mortem. Area Police Office, Sabaila, said that further investigation is currently underway in connection with the incident.
