KATHMANDU, Feb 5: CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has accused the erstwhile government led by Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba of destroying the country's economy.
Speaking during the special session of parliament on Sunday, Oli said, “Even by ignoring the valid principles of the economy and the needs of the Nepali economy, and scrapping the right policies and programs of economic development, certain individuals, families were allowed to amass wealth during the government led by Sher Bahadur Deuba. The available facts and figures show the extreme abuse of the state machinery by the government led by the NC President. This is really sad.”
