KATHMANDU, August 19: Devotees thronged the historic Krishna Temple in Patan Durbar Square on Friday to celebrate the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna.

On this day, devotees throng the temples dedicated to Lord Krishna. Patan’s Krishna Mandir is one of the most revered religious destinations in the Kathmandu Valley. The renowned and artistic Shree Krishna Temple made of stones was built by the then King of Patan, Siddhi Narsingh Malla. Nonetheless, devotees put maximum effort in decorating Krishna temples in their vicinity.
