KATHMANDU, May 27: The Morang District Court has completed recording statement of Chuda Mani Upreti aka Gorey, the main accused in 33.5 kg gold smuggling.
Gorey’s hearing had been ongoing for four days. Upon completion of statement, protest discussion has started from today itself.

A special probe committee formed under Ishwor Raj Paudel, joint secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs had arrested Gorey from Kathmandu on May 22.
The Special Probe Committee has filed case against 63 people accused of gold smuggling at Morang District court.
