KATHMANDU, Sept 4: The District Administration Office (DAO), Kathmandu, has requested one and all not to make unnecessary statements that could obstruct government work.
The DAO, Kathmandu on Monday issued a statement specifically addressing the Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Balen Shah, suggesting him not to make unnecessary expressions on social media or anywhere else that could discourage the public servants who are engaged in government work with good intentions and weaken their morale.

The statement issued by the DAO reads, "Monitoring and regulating the use of government vehicles on public holidays has been a standard practice conducted by all district administration offices to prevent the misuse of government resources." In this context, the Ministry of Home Affairs has issued circulars for monitoring, regulation and prevention on various dates. It is not right for Mayor Shah to give expression to dent the morale of civil service employees.”
Assistant Chief District Officer Khadga Bahadur Shrestha stated that if there are complaints about employees or security personnel in the workplace, individuals should report these issues, along with supporting evidence, to the relevant agency's head or the designated complaint officer. The complaint will then be thoroughly investigated, and appropriate action will be taken.
