Doctor’s 12 year son shot dead

RAUTAHAT, June 11: An abducted child in Rautahat was found dead early morning today on the shore of Bagmati River, 15 kilometer away from Gadimai municipality-5. Yuvaraj Shah, the 12 year son of doctor Dilip Shah of Katahariya Municipality – 9 was shot dead by his captors, according to police.

RAUTAHAT, June 11: An abducted child in Rautahat was found dead early morning today on the shore of Bagmati River, 15 kilometer away from Gadimai municipality-5. Yuvaraj Shah, the 12 year son of doctor Dilip Shah of Katahariya Municipality – 9 was shot dead by his captors, according to police.  



The kidnappers had demanded Rs 10 million in ransom. Police suspect that failure of the doctor to provide the ransom could be the reason for the 12 year’s death. An operation initiated by police inspector Manoj YAdav from District Police Office and Chauturbhuj Ojha from Area Police Office, Garuda has arrested five people for their alleged involvement in the killing.

Those apprehended are Shakti Rai Yadav, 19, Prabin Rai Yadab, 20, Sunil Kumar Yadav, 20 from Katahariya-9 Dumariya, and Binod Kumar Patel, 18, Ravi Kumar Patel, 20 from Brindaban Municipality, Aakharpathar.


Police said that the investigation was ongoing. Shah was abducted at 1 AM from his home on Saturday.
