DPM Nidhi instructs concerned govt agencies to preempt humanitarian crisis in Sankhuwasabha

KATHMANDU, April 21: Deputy Prime Minister Bimilendra Nidhi has instructed the concerned government bodies to make all arrangement for preempting human loss by clearing the blocked confluence of Arun rive and Barun river with great caution.



The flow of Arun river has been blocked by the powerful flood that flowed along   Barun river at 4 pm on Thursday.

It has been learned that a team of high level government officials is set fly to the incident site.


The team consists of Drinking Water and Cleaning State Minister Dipak Khadka, Chief of Disaster Management Division under Home Ministry Krishna Bahadur Raut, geologist, three Nepal Army technical officers and representatives of Armed Police Force and Water Disaster Department.
