KATHMANDU, Oct 7: The Diversity Visa (DV) lottery registration for 2022 has opened on Wednesday.
In a press statement on Wednesday, The US Embassy in Kathmandu urged the DV entrants to apply before November 10, 2020 to be eligible for the lottery to permanently live and work in the US.
“The application period for the 2022 Diversity Visa (DV) program opens at noon Eastern Daylight Time (EDT), Wednesday, October 7, 2020 (9:45 pm local time in Nepal; Ashwin 21, 2077 B.S.), and closes at noon Eastern Standard Time (EST) on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 (10:45 pm local time; Kartik 25, 2077 B.S.),” reads the press statement.
Registration opens for ‘Mr and Miss Tharu 2022’
The embassy has strongly encouraged DV program entrants to apply as early as possible.
