EC publishes schedule for National Assembly election

KATHMANDU, Dec 1: The Election Commission (EC) has released the schedule for the upcoming National Assembly elections. The EC issued a notice on Friday and announced the schedule of the National Assembly election to be held on January 25.

KATHMANDU, Dec 1: The Election Commission (EC) has released the schedule for the upcoming National Assembly elections. The EC issued a notice on Friday and announced the schedule of the National Assembly election to be held on January 25.



According to the EC, the political parties willing to participate in the election can register from December 10 to December 15. Similarly, the election symbol will be provided on the 1st day of the month, and the election officer will be appointed on the 16th day of the month and the office of the election officer will be established in all the seven provincial election offices on the same day.

The election program is scheduled to be finalized at the election officer's office from January 5 to January 14. The voting process will then take place on January 25, commencing at 9:00AM and concluding at 3:00PM.
