EC to provide election symbols to parties participating in National Assembly elections today

KATHMANDU, Dec 17: The Election Commission (EC) is providing election symbols to the parties for the National Assembly elections today.

KATHMANDU, Dec 17: The Election Commission (EC) is providing election symbols to the parties for the National Assembly elections today.



According to the EC, 12 parties have been registered for the National Assembly elections to be held on January 25. The EC said that they are going to give election symbols to all of them to participate in the elections.

According to the EC, the list of registrations will be sent for publication in the gazette on December 20 after the election symbols have been awarded to the parties.


A total of 20 posts of National Assembly members will be vacant from March 3. Elections will be held for 19 posts on January 25, and the President will nominate one of the remaining members.
