BAGLUNG, August 2: As many as eleven passengers have been injured after the bus they were travelling in met with an accident at Galkot Municipality in Baglung today at 7AM. The night bus (Ba 5 Kha 1553) was travelling from Kathmandu to Burtibang before the accident that was caused due to brake failure.
According to Ikwal Hawari, Deputy Superintendent of Police of the district police office, among the 22 passengers who were on the bus at the time of the incident, 11 of them are injured.

Passengers have sustained minor injuries from the accident and have been taken to Dhaulagiri Hospital in Baglung for further treatment. The other 11 passengers are safe as well. Police have taken the 52-year-old bus driver Chitra Bahadur Khadka into custody for now.
