Emergency assistance project implemented in Nepal under support of Japan govt

KATHMANDU, Feb 1: The Government of Japan and the United Nations Human Settlements Program have been implementing a project on the Emergency Support Initiative for Green Building-Based Prevention and Control Measures.

The project, which started in March 2022, includes Nepal and Cambodia and vulnerable communities.


The project has been financially supported by the Japanese government with an amount of 0.4 million dollars. The project aims to reduce the immediate risks of vulnerable communities and contribute to safer and cleaner cities in Asia and the Pacific through green building initiatives.
