Enumerators sent to Babai and Kapurkot to collect data of import/export of agricultural products

KARNALI, Nov 26: The Karnali Province government has appointed enumerators for Babai and Kapurkot.



The Ministry of Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives has appointed enumerators to collect the data of import and export of agricultural produce in Karnali.

Secretary at the Ministry, Dr Narahari Ghimire, said the work of collecting data on the import and export of agricultural produce in the province has started with the aim of promoting the production and marketing of agricultural and livestock products.


He said the initiative would provide the actual data of the agricultural produce produced in Karnali province and those coming from outside.


Dhan Bahadur Kathayat, the spokesperson for the Ministry, said the ministry and subordinate agencies will analyze the data of import and export and work to promote market management and quality control.


The enumerators will collect details of agricultural produce in coordination with the security agencies at the checkpoints leading to the province.
