EVM being used in FSU election at TU Central Campus

KATHMANDU, March 19: An electronic voting machine (EVM) has been used in  Tribhuvan University (TU) Central Campus Kirtipur Free Student Union (FSU) election.

KATHMANDU, March 19: An electronic voting machine (EVM) has been used in  Tribhuvan University (TU) Central Campus Kirtipur Free Student Union (FSU) election.



While voting is being done traditionally in other campuses, in Kirtipur, voting is being done through an EVM.

Although the polling was said to start from eight o'clock in the morning, due to the lack of preparations, voting was delayed by almost an hour. The polling duration  is fixed till 4 PM.


Security has been tightened on campus targeting the elections.
