KATHMANDU, June 27: Former King Gyanendra Shah has reached Nepalgunj along with his family members on Wednesday evening.
Shah, his wife Komal, daughter Prerana and his grandchildren touched down at Nepalgunj airport by a Shree Air flight at 6 pm today.

According to Shah’s personal secretary Fadindra Pathak, Shah has flown to Nepalgunj to celebrate his birthday which falls on July 7.
He will stay in Nepalgunj-based Soaltee hotel during the visit. Former Shah was welcomed by General Secretary of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Dhawal Shamsher Rana, who is also the mayor of Nepalgunj Sub Metropolitan City.
His well wishers and supports had shouted slogans in favor of him.
