DADELDHURA, Oct 14: One person died after being crushed by an excavator at Jaltuda of Aalital rural municipality-4 in the district on Sunday evening.
According to the District Police Office, the deceased has been identified as Man Bahadur Bohora, 52, of Aalital rural municipality-4.

Excavator (Ba 2 Ka 5464) en route to Budar of Doti from Jogbuda of Parashuram municipality ran over the man, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DCP) Dadhiram Neupane told Republica Online.
The excavator belongs to Rajendra Construction Services Private Limited which won the contract to blacktop Budar-Jogbuda road section.
Locals have blamed the driver for his reckless driving. Driver Sher Bahadur Mahara has remained absconding following the incident. Police said they have been searching for him.
