BHAKTAPUR, July 2: One person died and another was injured in a scooter accident in Suryabinayak Municipality-7, Gundu, Tindhare of Bhaktapur.
On Saturday night, a scooter (Ba 93 Pa 5881) coming to Pandu Bazaar from Gundu Suryabinayak Municipality-7, went out of control and met with an accident. The driver of the scooter, Krishna Kumar Twati, 45, a resident of Pandu Bazar-6, Suryabinayak, Bhaktapur, died when his scooter went out of control.

After the accident, he was seriously injured and was taken to the nearby Dr Iwamura Memorial Hospital, Sallaghari Bhaktapur, where he died during the night, the police said.
According to Bhaktapur Police Circle, the daughter Anita Twati, 19 years old, who was riding pillion on the scooter, sustained minor injuries and has been discharged after treatment. At the scene of the incident, a police team with an investigation officer from the police circle Jagati has conducted a preliminary investigation.
