KATHMANDU, Nov 14: A massive fire has broken out in Patan Industrial area on Tuesday evening.
A police team deployed from Metropolitan Police Range Office, Lalitpur is trying to contain the fire with the help of locals and fire fighters.

Fire engines from Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur districts are being used to extinguish the fire, said Police Inspector Dwarika Prasad Dhungel from the incident site.
The fire is still raging and out of control due to poor performance of fire extinguishers.
The fire had started from Ananda Plastics factory. According to police, it broke out at 7 pm.
The cause of fire and the property damaged by it is yet to be ascertained.
