BAITADI, Nov 24: At least five people died and six others sustained injuries when a jeep met an accident at Budda of Dashrath Chand Municipality-8 along the Gothalapani–Jhulaghat road section on Tuesday.
The ill-fated jeep (Na 1 Ja 2196), bound to Gothalapani from Jhulaghat in the district, met with the tragedy at around 1PM earlier today.

All five died on the spot, according to Baitadi Police Chief, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Narayan Prasad Adhiakri.
Local people and police are involved in the rescue operation.
Police have yet to collect further details about the mishap, said DSP Adhikari.
