Five killed in road mishap

KAWASWOTI, April 1: At least five died on the spot and five others were injured when a truck bearing Indian number plate hit a bus at 40-km forest area of Nawalparasi along the East-West Highway this morning.

KAWASWOTI, April 1: At least five died on the spot and five others were injured when a truck bearing Indian number plate hit a bus at 40-km forest area of Nawalparasi along the East-West Highway this morning. 



The deceased are Ram Chaudhary, 16, Birbal Chaudhary, 17, Hariram Ramjali Magar, 38, of Dang and truck driver Riyaz Khan, 25, of Bihar, India, confirmed the Area Police Office, Nawalpur. One of the deceased is yet to be identified.

The accident took place at 2.45 am today when the Kathmandu bound Indian truck (UP 58 T 547) was hit by the bus (Na 4 Kha 7995). 


The injured are undergoing treatment at Madhyabindu Community Hospital, Danda. RSS
