KATHMANDU, Mar 19: Pradeep Gyawali, Minister of Foreign Affairs congratulated Wang Yi for being appointed as State Councilor and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China.

In his congratulatory note, Gyawali wished for Yi's successful tenure at the office. In addition, Gyawali expressed satisfaction over the friendly and cooperative relations subsisting between Nepal and China since the establishment of diplomatic relations.
He also expressed desire to work closely with his Chinese counterpart to further deepen and widen the bilateral relations in the days to come, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press statement.
