Foreign Minister NP Saud and his Indian counterpart Jaishankar jointly inaugurate TU Library building

KATHMANDU, Jan 5: Tribhuvan University (TU) Central Library Building has been inaugurated. Foreign Minister NP Saud and visiting Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar inaugurated the newly-constructed building in Kirtipur on Friday.

KATHMANDU, Jan 5: Tribhuvan University (TU) Central Library Building has been inaugurated. Foreign Minister NP Saud and visiting Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar inaugurated the newly-constructed building in Kirtipur on Friday.



The three-storied university library building has been constructed with Indian assistance and has now been officially handed over to TU. This building, with an investment of approximately Rs 360 million, is designed to accommodate around 2,000 students for studying and research.

Additionally, there are plans to implement a Radio Frequency Identification System (RFID) in the library to streamline the book borrowing and return process.
