Former CEO of Saptakoshi Development Bank sentenced to over three years in prison

KATHMANDU, June 14: Nabin Subedi, a former CEO of Saptakoshi Development Bank, has been sentenced to three years and three months in prison.

KATHMANDU, June 14: Nabin Subedi, a former CEO of Saptakoshi Development Bank, has been sentenced to three years and three months in prison. The Special Court, chaired by Tek Narayan Kuwar with members Ram Bahadur Thapa and Murari Babu Shrestha, passed the sentence on Friday.

Previously convicted in a money laundering case, Subedi's sentence was announced 12 days after the verdict. In addition to the jail term, the court imposed a fine of Rs 23,654,401.20 on Subedi.
