"How can an ordinary man amass huge properties worth billions and have a luxurious life once he becomes the prime minister? Obviously, no. Hence, I suggest the lawmakers launching a probe into the matter," he said

Dr Bhattarai who had also served as the Minister for Finance claimed that the salary given to the prime minister is not enough to have a luxurious life with private cars, and grand bungalow. “There must be some other hidden sources of income and it needs to be investigated,” he added.

He also accused the government of promoting corruption and failing to maintain good governance in the country.
