DHANGADI, Sep 5: In a joint operation conducted by the Sudurpaschim Province Investigation Team and the local police office in Sukhad, four individuals were apprehended in possession of approximately 1.3 kilograms of hashish. The arrests took place in Deukaliya of Ghodaghodi Municipality-5.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Birendrabir Bishwakarma, the head of the local police office in Sukhad, provided details of the operation.
Two Indian nationals arrested with 35 kgs of hashish
The arrested have been identified as 48-year-old Nar Bahadur Ghimire from Ghodaghodi Municipality-10, 31-year-old Thaneshwar Ghimire, 29-year-old Sagar Basnet from Bhimdatta Municipality-1 in Kanchanpur, and 36-year-old Chandra Nepali from Krishnapur Municipality.
The arrested individuals have been placed in custody, and a thorough investigation is currently underway to determine the full extent of their involvement in the drug-related activities.
