MANTHALI, April 6:Four persons died in a road accident that occurred at Manthali Municipality-7 in Ramechhap district on Thursday. Eleven persons sustained injuries in the accident, police said.
A jeep (Ba 11 Cha 553) heading to Kauchhini of ward number 7 of the municipality from the district headquarters of Manthali fell some 100 meters off the road killing all four persons on the spot.
Two youths killed in Jhapa road mishap
The deceased have been identified as Nanda Maya Bhandari, 82, Gyandani Tamang, 55, and Jensun Tamang, 68, of Manthali Municipality-7 and eight-year-old Lakpa Ghising of Gunsi village of Sunapati Rural Municipality-1 in the district.
Of the injured, the condition of two persons including the driver is critical. They are currently receiving treatments in Ramechhap Community Hospital.
