JHAPA, April 13: A couple who have been cheating people in the camouflage of former General of Indian Army was nabbed in Jhapa on Thursday.
The fraudsters had gone at large after illegally amassing million rupees from the innocent people.
Three arrested along with loaded gun and stolen goods
The Area Police Office, Birtamod arrested the couple from Birtamod at the directive of Chitwan District Administration Office.
The arrestees are Dan Bahadur Nepal (Prakash), 45, originally hailing from Ranigaun-5 of Panchthar and currently living in Birtamod, and his spouse Mamata Nepal,39.
They had cheated money and gold jewelers from people by promising locals of Chitwan to arrange employment in Indian Army.
Acting on the public complaint of fraud, the couple was held by Area Police Office, Birtamod at the directive of Chitwan, shared DSP at Birtamod Police, Krishna Prasad Koirala. RSS
