Two films, Birbikram 2 and Jatrai Jatra released on Friday. The movies are sequel to Birbikram and Jatrai Jatra respectively.



Produced and directed by Milan Cham, Birbikram2 portrays the friendship of two childhood friends. Shot in Mustang, Kathmandu and different international locations, the film features Paul Shah, Barsha Shiwakoti and Najir Hussain in the lead roles. Milan Chams also directed the first movie of the Birbikram series. Buddhi Tamang, Deshbhakta Khanal, Binisha Bhandari, Binod Subedi, Manish Limbu and Manoj KC also feature in the film. The film premiered amidst the red carpet event on Wednesday. Stalwarts of the film industry including Bhuwan KC, Shiva Shrestha, Pooja Sharma, Anu Shah, Shilpa Maskey and Bijay Lama attended the premiere.

Likewise, Pradeep Bhattarai’s directorial venture Jatrai Jatra stars Bipin Karki, Rabindra Singh Baniya and Rabindra Jha in the lead. The story revolves around difficulties the three actors go through in attempting to hide a sack full of gold they find.


Baniya, also the film’s co-producer is hopeful that it will do well and entertain the audience.


Actors Barsh Raut, Rajaram Paudel, Dayahang Rai, Sohit Manandhar, Prakash Ghimire, Kaal Rana, and Priyanka Jha also feature in the movie.
