Frigid morning recorded in Kathmandu with minimum temperature of 6.2 degree celsius

KATHMANDU, Dec 10: The Kathmandu Valley experienced a frigid morning with a minimum temperature of 6.2 degrees Celsius, marking the lowest recorded temperature this year, as reported by the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.

KATHMANDU, Dec 10: The Kathmandu Valley experienced a frigid morning with a minimum temperature of 6.2 degrees Celsius, marking the lowest recorded temperature this year, as reported by the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.



The MFD officials highlighted that today's temperature is the lowest recorded in the Kathmandu Valley so far this year. Additionally, the MFD forecasts cloudy weather in Koshi, Gandaki, and Bagmati provinces, with a chance of snowfall in certain high-hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.

Similarly, the districts of the eastern Terai have been covered in heavy fog since early this morning. However, the MFD officials have anticipated that the fog will gradually disappear and there will be sunshine in the afternoon.
