Gagan questions home minister’s efficiency

KATHMANDU, Sept 15: Nepali Congress Lawmaker Gangan Thapa on Saturday came down heavily on Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa accusing him of being incapable of discharging his duties.



Speaking in a zero hour in the Parliament on Saturday, Thapa demanded resignation of Home Minister Thapa arguing that he could not book the culprit involved in the Nirmala rape and murder case even after 51 days, became lethargic in taking actions against the gold smugglers and contractors.

Thapa, who is known for his rhetorical skills, had spoken for around 52 seconds.


Meanwhile, Gagan also questioned Minister Thapa’s intention behind dillydallying in bringing the culprit in the Nirmala case to book.
