Following the instruction, entrepreneurs who did not establish charging stations were unable to sell EVs. Therefore, they demanded some time from the provincial government stating that establishing a charging station will take some time.

According to the entrepreneurs’ demands, the instruction will be implemented only from mid-December as it will take time to establish a charging station. The provincial government has asked EV sellers to register vehicles complying with the current process, following which entrepreneurs can sell EVs till mid-December. However, three fast charging centers must be established by mid-December, one each by each of the three new EV sellers in the province.
